Why TechUp exists

One technician, no call centre, no ticket queue — just someone local who actually shows up.

The short version

I started out as a computer service technician for an IT support company, then spent 12 years in software development at one of Australia's largest software companies. After years behind a desk, I felt the pull to get back to what I actually loved: sitting down with someone, working through a computer problem, and fixing it properly.

TechUp is that — personal, local computer and IT help for homes and small businesses across Melbourne's eastern suburbs. No call centre, no outsourced support desk. Just one person who turns up, explains what's wrong in plain language, and gets it sorted.

How I work

No fix, no fee. If I can't solve the problem, you don't pay for the attempt.

Two-week guarantee. If something's not right after I've been out, I'll come back and make it right — no extra charge.

Kept deliberately small. I take on a limited number of clients so I can actually be there when something breaks.
